This reminds me of how during the holidays, alcoholics tend to have the biggest binges due to the emotions around the loss of family and relationships. Evidence of substance abuse is well after it has affected the abuser’s personal life. This makes sense as you are only at a job for 8 hours and need the money to support the habit.
